The girls run around the picknick area at Dunham Massey. BK2 shouts: "a scribble! The scribble is in the hole!"
She points up a tree, very excitedly.
Me: Ein Eichhörnchen? [a squirrel?]
BK2: Ja! Ein Eichhörnchen!
Yay! She might not be able to say "squirrel" but she can say "Eichhörnchen". German wins this time.
